Kalypto is the children’s safety gate from Fontanot that can be adjusted to different sizes and types of staircases, even those from other manufacturers. The safety gate is designed to guard the access to the staircase of children aged between 0 and 24 months.
Kalypto is the first gate for children that meets the recently-revised safety standards for products designed for children: EU: EN1930-2011, USA: ASTM 1004-12 – conformity tested by TUV.
Composed of fabric stretched over a rigid tubular frame and plastic joints that allow the gate to be fixed to the railing, Kalypto is 82 cm long and 73,5 cm tall, with the possibility of being shortened to 54 cm to adjust to many different sizes of staircase. It can also be fixed to a wall using the appropriate accessories, in this case the length is adjustable to 90 cm. It is intended for indoor use.
